Van Meter Comprehensive Site Visit Report

Van Meter Community School District hosted a team of twelve members for a 5-year comprehensive school improvement visit on February 17, 18, and 19, 2009. The purpose of the visit was:
- To assess progress with the comprehensive school improvement plan
- To make recommendations with regard to the visit findings for the purposes of improving educational practices above minimal compliance
- To determine that a school or school district is in compliance with the accreditation standards
- To provide a general assessment of educational practice
Based on the findings of the team, Van Meter Community School District maintains state of Iowa accreditation. No non-compliance issues were noted and no corrective action plan will be required.
